ISLAMIC ABBREVIATIONS
SWT (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) - "Glorified and Exalted is He." Used after mentioning Allah.
SAW (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) - "Peace and blessings be upon him." Used after mentioning Prophet Muhammad.
RA (RadiAllahu Anhu/Anha/Anhum) - "May Allah be pleased with him/her/them." Used for the companions of Prophet Muhammad.
AS (Alayhis Salam) - "Peace be upon him." Used after mentioning prophets other than Muhammad.
AA (Azzawajal) - "The Mighty and Majestic." Used when referring to Allah.
AH (After Hijrah) - Refers to the Islamic calendar year after the migration of Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina.
BAS (BarakAllahu Fik) - "May Allah bless you."
BCE (Before Common Era) - Used to denote years before the birth of Jesus, common in Islamic historical texts.
BHT (BarakAllahu Feek) - "May Allah bless you." Another variant of BAS.
