Eligibility and Application Procedure

ELIGIBILITY

Students with Honours/Major in Statistics or Data Science, who will be enrolled in their 2nd year or 3rd/4th semester of undergraduate studies during the dates of the programme i.e. in  July 2025 -September 2025, are eligible to participate. Students with Honours/Major in Statistics or Data Science in their 3rd year from states/universities where a major/honours subject is offered only in the 3rd year and not before, may also apply. 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Students can prepare their applications online by visiting the MTUSS-2025 website.

Only applications prepared online will be considered. Online application begins on August 8, 2025 and the last date for applying is September 14, 2025. 

SELECTION

Selection will be purely on merit, based on consistently good academic record and recommendation from a current Statistics teacher closely acquainted with the candidate.

Only selected candidates will be informed of their selection by 22nd September 2025. The list of selected candidates will be posted on the website by 22nd September 2025.

Outstation candidates selected for the programme will be reimbursed sleeper class return train fare by the shortest route and provided free board and lodging for the duration of the programme.
