As a new author, I am happy to answer any questions you might have about my work, how I did it, or other literature things! Here are some commonly asked questions:
Yes, I am fifteen years old. I have the high school transcripts to prove it. Just because I am on the younger side doesn't mean I can't create quality novels!Â
The process for self publication is pretty simple, but it can be confusing and hard to explain. For me, I write and edit my books through Google docs, but use Kindle create and Amazon's book cover creator to format and create covers for my book.
I started writing because I have so many ideas in my head that I just wanted to put them on paper. My first book, Was it My Fault?, was originally just a project I wanted to do for myself. But, when I was faced with the summer job dilemma, I decided to share my work with the world!
For my writing, I use Google docs to write my novels. For formatting, I use Kindle Create. Creating the cover is the trickiest, but I typically use Canva and Adobe Photoshop to create the base image, then finish it off with Amazon's cover creator.
You got me here. I can't pick one. If you ask what my favorite series is, I might lean towards the Inheritance Games series, but there are so many good titles on my bookshelf, I can't choose a singular one. If you want recommendations, visit my Book Recommendations page!
I can't tell you yes, and I can't tell you no. I love writing, but it is time consuming and I do have a life outside of the literary world. I just don't want the pressure of finishing a project that I really don't have any interest in. I can tell you that I do have a list of story ideas waiting to be written!
