I absolutely ADORE this book series. I love the artistry and the balance in the plot that had me guessing until the very end, but I was not confused! If I had to pick a favorite book series, it would totally be this one. I also love that new books are still coming out! I will keep buying them if they keep coming!

Sink or Swim
Not gonna lie, this book will set you on a World War II streak for reading. It is based off of a true story of a 12 year old who served in the U.S. Navy trying to sink U-boats. It is super captivating and I love every second of it. If you like Alan Gratz books, you'll like Sink or Swim. If you like Sink or Swim, you'll also like Alan Gratz books, so go read them!

This novel is super thrilling and heart warming as Peak, a teenage troublemaker, is offered the chance of a life time to join his absent father and climb to the top of Mount Everest. The relationship building developed in this book is so pure and amazing. It is also one of the best realistic fiction novels I have ever read, and addresses some important issues in society.
