Collaboration

Collaboration is the ability for one to working with others even though they might different stand points and work well with them. This is a required skill for being able to be a well functional group member. 

Communication and Collaboration 

One can agree that collaboration requires communication, therefore one without communication cannot attain collaboration skills. In addition, students can communicate in order to complete a given group assessment even though they are afar from each other due to the ability to communicate. Therefore, collaboration takes a good part in these types of assessments because due to different types of learners included in the assessment, students take responsibility of different part of the assessment fitting one's strengths.
