Keep MTPG Safe and the Citizens Patrol is a group of local citizens who patrol their communities acting as "eyes and ears" for law enforcement. By patrolling their community, on a regular basis, Citizens Patrol volunteers become more familiar with their community and are better able to recognize "suspicious" activity and notify the authorities. Within the MTPG community there are three patrols: walking, weekday and weekend.
To help the valiant volunteers in the Citizen Patrol, the MTPG Neighborhood Association is gathering residents' information into a current directory via the attached form. All of the information gathered will be strictly confidential and only given to the Neighborhood Association and the OCCP.
Every day crimes are committed all around us. Citizens Patrol's hope is to cut down on crimes in our neighborhood. Because the police can not be in all neighborhoods at one time, we, as an extra set of eyes and ears, can help to let the police know when something does not seem right. We call 911. And if you should see any activity that does not seem normal - big or small - report it all!
By being police trained and out on patrol, our neighborhood is much safer!

New volunteers are always welcome; some training is necessary.
