This website is dedicated to all of our students and families who help make Matthew Turner Elementary school so special. Here you will find information on Current Happenings and how you can get involved.
The students and staff of Matthew Turner Elementary created an "ofrenda," which is an altar built for the Mexican holiday of dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead), which takes place from October 31 to November 2, on the stage of the MPR.
The ofrenda to honored the souls of their loved ones. Items such as photos, marigolds, candles, water, and the food decorated the space.
The execution of the special space could not have happened without the stewardship of our PTA VP of DEIB & Outreach, Wendy Bruesh.
The PTA, under Wendy's leadership, executed a morning coffee & pastry social for parents as they watched students and staff participate in our annual Halloween Parade. Homemade vegan & gluten free baked goods were provided in addition to the traditional Pan de Muerto and Raggs coffee.
Thank you to all who joined in on the fun 10/31/25.
Our Matthew Turner Fun Run was a tremendous success, and we are so thankful to everyone who made it possible. We’re excited to share that we’ve officially reached our goal. Thank you again for your generosity and support. We are so proud of our Dolphins and truly grateful to be part of such a caring, enthusiastic community.
