Each year, the PTA Board presents its budget at the first General Assembly meeting. It includes recurring spending and special initiatives.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the MTE PTA had 3 main goals:
1. Maintain fundraising levels to meet and exceed last year.
2. Focus on funding outdoor education and field trips.
3. Project plan for a complete overhaul of our preschool, TK, and K playground.

The PTA, led by Jackie Valderrama and Brooke Thompson, along with Ms. Gomez and Thomas Porter, are working on securing multiple quotes to transform the preschool - kinder playground area. Our initiatives include working alongside the district and our stakeholders, the TK and K teachers who use this space every school day.

PTA paid for 48% of the total cost per student to attend Coloma including our transportation.

PTA donations fund the BrickSpace program for our six TK and K classes!
Library Expenses
Library Expenses
We provide over $6,000 a year for new books, replacement books, and furniture for our library.
