Top 10 BM Programs List
This list SHOULDN'T be your only resource but it's a helpful place to start. There are a lot of programs that are just as good as this that aren't on this list. A BM (bachelor of music) is similar to a BFA, the differences are: a BM has more music theory, piano, and sight singing (very helpful for the professional world), a BM also doesn't weight the dance call as heavily, the dance call is to see more of your personality rather than your technique and abilities. However, this does NOT mean that you won't have enough dance in a BM major!

This has TONS of schools to look into including: highly selective programs, honorable mentions, others you should consider, other BFA programs, and other BA programs.

This website can and is a very helpful site that has forums where people can ask and have questions answered. BUT! You need to be careful on this website because there are a lot of parents on this website who have kids who are very ahead in the process so don't compare yourself or your kids to them or feel the need/except you or your child to be on pace with them.
