Minister Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint watches final match of Golden Belt Traditional Boxing Challenges 

YANGON, 22 May— Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint watched the final match of the Third Golden Belt Traditional Boxing Challenges held at the National Indoor Stadium1, Thuwunna yesterday. 

Among the spectators were officials from the Ministry of Sports, Myanmar Women’s Sports Federation, Myanmar Boxing Federation, guests, sports enthusiasts and others. Vice-Chairman of Myanmar Traditional Sports Federation U Aung Min presented medal to Moe Thi (Myanmarpyitha) who stood second in Flyweight Class and golden belt to Naing Win (Cement Plant) who stood first. Joint-Secretary U Than Zaw presented medal to Htit Chone (KLN) who stood second in Flyweight Class and golden belt to Shwe Kyi Hsan (Cement Plant). Director of Sports and Physical Education Department U Zaw Lin presented medal to Atheswe (Cement Plant) who stood second in Bantamweight Class and golden belt to Dawna Aung (Kywemin). 

Director of Sports and Physical Education Department U Maung Win presented medal to Mike Hke (Kywemin) who stood second in Featherweight Class and golden belt to Dawna Pan (Kywemin). Vice-President of Myanmar Traditional Sports Federation U Myint Soe presented medal to Saw Lu Min (Taungkalay) who stood second in Lightweight Class and golden belt to Win Tun (A&I Ministry). U Khin Maung Tun (Htet Lin) presented medal to Naga Lay (Mwehaukmin) who stood second in Light Welterweight Class and golden belt to Kye Lin Aung (Taungkalay). Director U Aung Tin (Myanmar Towards Co) presented medal to Yan Gyi Aung (Alinyaung) who stood second in Welterweight Class and golden belt to Thura Ye Aung (Myanmarpyitha). Deputy Director-General of SPED U Thein Aung presented medal to Kyaw Nyein (Cement Plant) who stood second in Light Middleweight Class and golden belt to Zan Htoo (Taungkalay). Director-General of SPED U Thaung Htaik presented medal to Zarni Hsin Yaing (Taungkalay) who stood second in Middleweight Class and golden belt to Cement Star (Cement Plant). 

Next, Minister Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint presented cash and medal to Shwe Wah Tun (MPCE) who stood second in Above-Middleweight Class, cash and golden belt to Lone Chaw (KLN) who stood first, championship shield to Cement Plant Club which scored points most in the match and cash to the ring referees. 

Afterwards, President U Win Myint presented cash awards to Kye Lin Aung (Taungkalay) who won the best boxer award and Shwe Wah Tun (MPCE) who won the best competitor award. President U Win Myint, Director-General U Thaung Htaik and Vice-President U Myint Soe pre- Mr Koji Chino sented cash awards to referees.—MNAÂ
