Destination: Glacier Basin Trail
Explore this 8.1-mile out-and-back trail. This hike typically takes around 4 hours and 48 minutes to get done with. Enjoy the great outdoors where you can expect to meet other adventurers along the way. The ideal time to visit is between June and September.
Although please note unfortunatly dogs are not allowed on this trail!!
The Longmire Hot Springs are located in the Longmire Historic District of Mount Rainier National Park, on the southwestern side of the mountain. Longmuir is a campsite and in the past used as a hotspring. They are not being used anymore, but visitors can still go to check out the Fumaroles and other meltings from the volcanic heat.
Destination: Sunrise point Lookout Spot
Sunrise Point is located 7.4 miles up the Sunrise Road from the White River Campground, only open in the summers and leads to several hiking trails like, Palisades lake trail, and Sourdough ridge trail! These beautiful unique spots give you a close up of the famous stratovolcano where you can see the tip of the lava ridgeline.
