The Mechanical Sciences Young Investigators Meet (MSYIM) 2027, marking the 4th edition of this annual conference, is envisioned as a three-day summit to be held in March 2027. The conference will feature a diverse blend of academic and industry talks, research presentations, and interactive open forums, focusing on emerging developments and contemporary challenges in Mechanical Sciences. Building on the success and growing impact of its previous three editions, MSYIM 2027 aims to foster vibrant scientific exchange, promote interdisciplinary research, and strengthen the nationwide network of early-career researchers.
MSYIM 2027 will bring together young faculty members from mechanical engineering and allied disciplines across India. The conference provides a dedicated platform for young investigators to showcase their research, exchange ideas, discuss emerging scientific challenges, and establish meaningful academic and industry collaborations. By encouraging interactions among researchers at different stages of their careers, the meeting seeks to nurture a collaborative research environment and catalyze innovative ideas and long-term research partnerships.
The scientific programme will encompass a broad spectrum of core and interdisciplinary areas, including solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, robotics, manufacturing, and other emerging domains of Mechanical Sciences. Through keynote lectures, invited academic and industry talks, contributed research presentations, and informal scientific discussions, participants will have opportunities to engage with cutting-edge research, explore interdisciplinary perspectives, and identify new directions for scientific and technological advancement. MSYIM 2027 aspires to continue its tradition of providing an engaging and inclusive platform for the next generation of researchers to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the advancement of Mechanical Sciences.
Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to see the third edition of MSYIM. The symposium, with its sharp focus on young academicians and high academic quality, has already established itself as a distinguished platform. We are glad to host you at IIT Kanpur, and we hope that you will have a memorable time sharing your research work. I personally am looking forward to attend several of the symposium’s sessions.
Best wishes,
