The Mechanical Sciences Young Investigators Meet (MSYIM) 2026 is envisioned as a three-day summit featuring a blend of academic and industry talks, and open forums focused on emerging research in Mechanical Sciences. Building on the success of previous editions, this premier event aims to foster vibrant scientific exchange and strengthen the nationwide community of early-career researchers.
This unique meeting brings together early-career researchers, doctoral scholars, postdoctoral fellows, and young faculty from engineering and allied disciplines across India. By providing a dedicated platform for presentation, discussion, and collaboration, MSYIM 2026 seeks to catalyze new ideas and enduring research partnerships.
The program spans core and interdisciplinary topics, including solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, robotics, and manufacturing, with sessions tailored to highlight cutting-edge developments and applications in these areas. Through keynote talks, contributed presentations, and informal dialogue, participants will engage with contemporary scientific challenges and chart directions for future research.
Dear Colleagues,
I am delighted to see the third edition of MSYIM. The symposium, with its sharp focus on young academicians and high academic quality, has already established itself as a distinguished platform. We are glad to host you at IIT Kanpur, and we hope that you will have a memorable time sharing your research work. I personally am looking forward to attend several of the symposium’s sessions.
Best wishes,
