Membrane separation and water treatment lab is engaged in various environment related research projects. Utilization of industrial waste for manufacturing of adsorption media for arsenic is one of the major projects. Along with that , our group which is having good combination of chemical engineers, mechanical engineers , biotechnologists and chemists is actively doing projects on wastewater treatment , Ambient air pollution remediation, fruit juice concentration and nutrient recovery from waste water. Our group aims at developing technologies which can be scaled to industrial level.
