1st Time New members will get a free basic blank dobok but can upgrade to the Tournament Team dobok for an additional $95 (valid deal for 1st time new members only before dues deadline). Can only pick one.

Sparring gear can be purchased separately.

Tournament Team Membership: $/Semester

$520 - for 1st time new members

$380 - for returning tournament team members

Membership-less: $10/Practice Session  /
$15 for two sessions

Payments made through the online club portal is recommended and preferred. We also accept hard cold (or warm...) cash. Please locate a club Executive Officer to make such a deal so that it can be properly documented. 

Taekwondo Scholarship OPENS: July 1, 2024 (CLOSED)

Requirements

📌 Must be a MSU Denver student
📌 Must be taking at minimum 6 credits during the FALL SEMESTER
📌 Must be an academic class TKD student OR dues-paying club member (both can apply at the same time...just do it)
📌 Dues-paying club member MUST have made a dues payment before September 1st (deadline subject to change)

Scholarship Conditions & Details

✏️ Only offered once per term year (Fall + Spring)
✏️ Spring course credits do NOT count towards requirements
 ✏️ Will open on July 1st and close August 31st of the same year
✏️ Will be awarded  in the Fall semester of application year
✏️ Amount awarded will be decided by the scholarship committee

HOWEVER . . .
✏️ Will be available for club members IF all academic Taekwondo (TKD) classes are CANCELLED....for the FALL Semester
✏️ TKD won't affect your GPA....Yay!!!! But you still need at least a 2.5 GPA to participate. So don't be slacking off now.


Here's how to apply:

1. Go here and click the button that says, “Sign In MSU Denver NetID” and enter your MSU Denver credentials (email and password): https://msudenver.academicworks.com/users/sign_in

2. Once you’re on that page, click on the blue “Opportunities” tab in the upper left corner.

3. Type in Taekwondo in the search bar and hit enter, then click on the Taekwondo Endowed Scholarship.

4. Review the criteria to apply for the scholarship.

If you meet all of those requirements click on the “Complete your General Application to apply” button in the bottom right corner.

5. Once you complete that General Application, you will be able to navigate back to the Taekwondo Endowed Scholarship and apply for the actual scholarship itself.

Individual Fundraising 

General Membership - First $250 raised goes to club, rest to membership for one semester.
Tournament Membership - First $250 raised goes to club, rest to membership for one semester.

Excess amounts raised beyond membership may be carried over to the next semester or credited for gear/club apparel purchase.

Drop-In Referrals

📌 Individual must mention/document your name as referral in note or to 2 officers.
📌 Any new drop-ins must fill out a club liability waiver.
📌 Payment must be received prior to practice.

Raffle Referrals

📌 Individual must mention your name as a referral note in raffle purchase.

Rockies 50/50

📌 April to October 1st. Baseball Season.
📌 Must NOT be late to shift.
 📌 Must NOT lose issued badge.
📌 Must sell at least one (1) raffle ticket in order for the club to receive $100 donation per shift.
📌 Suggestion: Two (2) Rockies shift/month for 3 months  (may do more and put towards next/upcoming semester)
