Co-President

Allison is a senior at Mission San Jose High School. She has been involved with music since she was 5 years old! She started out playing piano, but later switched to cello. Her interest in cello was sparked by her sister, and after spending eleven years playing her cello, it almost feels like an extension of her body. Her hobbies outside of playing cello include writing, drawing, hanging out with her friends and animals, and listening to K-Pop.

Vice President

Alexis is a rising junior at The Harker School and the Vice President of MSSL. She sings, plays piano, and jams to songs she finds interesting with her guitar. Alexis is a part of her upper school choir, and performs shows with them on holidays. She finds music to be healing to the soul, and she hopes to use her ability to sing and play to spread happiness wherever she performs with MSSL. 

Christina Wang is a Junior at Castro Valley High and has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old. She enjoys playing pieces from the Romantic period, especially by Chopin and Liszt. Christina’s favorite aspect of music is how it lets people express their emotions and thoughts artistically. 

Membership Secretary

Annika is a junior at Mission San Jose High School. She has been involved in the creation of music for fourteen years of her life, playing the piano and violin to a high proficiency. She participated in many competitions for both instruments, earning podium scores which even led her to performing in Carnegie Hall. Music is one of her favorite forms of self expression and she enjoys sharing her passion with others.

Cecilia is a Junior at Mission San Jose High School. She's been playing the piano for 10 years, sparked by her love for self-expression and storytelling. Cecilia loves playing adaptations of her favorite songs, shaping the piece using her own interpretations. She loves both listening to and creating music, viewing it as a point where both art and narratives converge.
