📢 This Week in 7th Grade Social Studies

This week, we are continuing Unit 2: A Growing Nation and beginning Chapter 5: The War of 1812 & The Era of Good Feelings! 🇺🇸

Students will learn about the causes and major events of the War of 1812, its impact on the United States, and how the nation entered a period known as the Era of Good Feelings.

📌 Important Reminder: BENCHMARK NEXT WEEK!

Our Social Studies Benchmark Assessment will be given:

📝 Tuesday, October 6

Please encourage students to come to class prepared, participate in review activities, and ask questions about anything they are unsure about before the benchmark.

What are we learning?

This week will wrap up Unit 2 chapter Chapter 3! Students have learned about the Dunbar Hunter, Red River, AND Lewis and Clark Expeditions.

We will move along to Unit 2 Chapter 4: Louisiana's Territorial Period and Statehood
