I'm a cognitive & behavioral scientist. I received my PhD in psychology from the New School for Social Research. I moved to New York in 2010. Before that I served as a consultant while completing my MBA at Sharif. I majored in computer software engineering at Amirkabir in undergrad.

My research focuses on decision making, cognitive control, and social cognition. I'm interested in cultural variability, and developing tools and methods that aim to improve the generalizability of psychological and behavioral sciences (see cut).

I teach introductory and advanced statistics, research methods, judgment & decision making, social psychology, and political psychology. I was a full-time lecturer at Princeton University's Department of Psychology and School of Public and International Affairs for a total of three years.

My consulting involves research design, statistics, and data analysis.

I like films, fiction, Ramen đŸ˜‹, and photography. I took this picture in Lisbon, and the background picture in Sagres, Protugal.
