Durio Tourism MARDI Kuala Kangsar

An excursion to Stesen MARDI Kuala Kangsar will be held on 30 July. This visit offers participants a unique opportunity to explore one of MARDI's research stations for tropical fruit development, particularly durian.

Located approximately 38 km from Ipoh, the station is well known for its Duriotourism agro-based initiative, which integrates research, innovation, and agrotourism. The site spans about 100 hectares, including extensive orchards with over 20 durian varieties and hundreds of mature trees.

Note:

• The excursion fee is included in the MSPPC conference registration fee.

• Accompanying persons who are not registered conference participants will be required to pay an additional fee to join the excursion.

• Participation is limited to 40 participants only (first come, first served).
