Call for Papers

Abstract

Papers of relevant topics within the conference theme are invited for oral/poster presentations. Authors must register and submit abstracts of soft copy by 10 July 2026. Abstracts received later than that will not be accepted in the scientific program of the conference. Each abstract must not exceed 500 words.

Extended Abstract

Authors are required to submit an extended abstract of no more than six (6) pages by 10 July 2026. The document must be prepared in A4 size, using 11-point Times New Roman, single spacing, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Submission must be in Microsoft Word (2007 or later) format.

Please refer to the Formatting Guidelines if needed. The Organising Committee reserves the right to determine whether a submission will be selected for oral or poster presentation.

All accepted extended abstracts will be published in the

Transactions of the Malaysian Society of Plant Physiology.

Selected extended abstracts that meet the quality standards of a journal manuscript will be invited for publication in the Journal of Tropical Plant Physiology (www.jtpp.org.my), which is indexed in MyCite, MyJurnal, EBSCOHost, and CAB Abstracts. 

Poster

The size for poster presentation is 2 feet (width) x 4 feet (height) or 60.96 cm (width) x 121.92 cm (height), with font size of at least 28. A bunting stand will be provided, as shown in the example images below. Participants are required to prepare the poster with the pole ready for the stand.

Five BEST POSTERS will be awarded.
