Section Overview:
In this section I have provided a multitude of examples of how I conduct and demonstrate my professionalism while teaching and anything involved in the field of education. Below are artifacts including a service to school community project proposal, communication with families examples, professional development, and professional growth plan.
Involvement with School Community:
Service to School Community Project Proposal
If you click in the links below, you will find my service to school community proposal, the flyer created for event, and my personal reflection. During my student teaching at Greater Latrobe Junior High, I will lead a book drive for Beverly’s Birthdays organization. The books will be a part of their Birthday Cheer Boxes. The books that are donated will be new and for ages 0-21. The goal of the project is to collect as many books as possible to help those in need.
To the right is an example of clear and simple communication I used when I student taught at Latrobe Elementary School. This document was emailed to parents to inform them that I will be student teaching and provides some interesting facts elementary students would enjoy.

For my Adapted Gym class, I had the opportunity to visit and observe three physical education classes at the Children's Insitute of Pittsburgh. It was a very inspiring experience in which I gained a plethora of knowledge of adaptive gym. To view my reflection, click the link below.
SAS Modules:
During my student teaching experience, I completed two SAS Modules to further grow as a professional and educator. The first module, Conceptualizing Professional Ethics for Educators, and the second, Maintaining Accurate Records. The images below indicate my completion of the two modules.
