About Research Scholars' Day

Research Scholars' Day (RSD) is a departmental annual event aimed to foster the exchange of knowledge and encourage collaboration among researchers. RSD serves as a platform for the research scholars to showcase their work through talks and posters. Students get apt exposure by participating in meaningful discussions to gain insights from esteemed faculty and industry professionals. 

About MatSci

Interdisciplinarity being the soul of the Materials Science Programme, RSD-2024 was named 'MatSci', where an interesting blend of  Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering was showcased. To continue with the legacy established, RSD-2026 (MatSci 3.0) will be organised  on 14 and 15 March, 2026. Beyond academic discussions, MatSci-3.0 will feature interactive activities like student-alumni interaction, skill development workshops, and MatSci-themed games to make learning engaging and enjoyable. The dynamic and ever evolving spirit of MatSci community is highlighted by combining research, innovation, and fun in the event.
