Hello students and parents! I am so excited about this year and can't wait to experience this journey with all the wonderful kiddos!
Meet Dallas! He is a Cavapoo and is 3/4 Red Poodle and 1/4 King Cavalier. This boy is crazy and a half! He is named after the song Dallas Love Field by my favorite artist, Henry Jamison.
"She sings of appletrees and blossoms and she called me from Dallas Love Field."
-Henry Jamison
I graduated from Mountain Home Highschool Career Academies in July 2020. My graduation was unlike most because my senior year was disrupted by the Coronavirus of 2020. Instead of walking the stage in May, my graduating class underwent the effect of Covid. Thankfully, we got to walk the stage in July while following the Covid Restriction Guidelines.
Fun Fact: Ms. Harcourt was in the first group of 3rd graders to go to school at Hackler Intermediate School!
I will graduate from Arkansas State University in May 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. My specialty areas are math and science. I was accepted into the Teacher Ed Program at A-State in the Fall of 2022.
Going through recruitment, I knew I wanted to find a home in that I could become a leader! I was elected as Activities Chairman during my Freshman year at A-State. In this position, I led my chapter in winning 1st place in the spirit competition, Order of the Pack (OOTP), and Yell Like Hell which is A-State's Homecoming week. We won first place in the parade float, banner painting competition, and skit/performance. During my sophomore year, I was elected as the Vice President of Programming and Enrichment (VPPE). In this position, I oversaw the Director of Ritual, Director of Academics, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator. Once a month, I hosted an Educational during our chapter meetings. Examples of these are followed: Financial Literacy, Self Defense, Academics, Mental Health, and DEI. The summer before my Junior year, I served as a Gamma Chi (recruitment counselor) for A-State Fall 2022 recruitment. In this position, I got to be a mentor for potential new members (PNMs) as they went through their sorority recruitment experience. During my Junior year, I was appointed as Director of Gamma Chis on the National Panhellenic Council (NPC) exec board. In this position, I worked closely with the recruitment team and got to teach wonderful women what it means to be a recruitment counselor. I am so thankful for my experiences in leadership in Greek Life because they have shaped me to become to leader I am today.

I started dancing when I was 3 years old. From the moment I stepped on my first stage, I knew that dance was my passion. As I continued to grow older, my love for dance grew tremendously. I started dancing Competitively during my Freshman year of Highschool. It was also my Freshman year that I became the first Junior High Dance Team captain at Mountain Home schools. From here, during my Sophomore and Junior years of Highschool, I served as Co-Captain of the Senior High team. I was Captain of the Bomber Belles Dance team my Senior year of Highschool.
My first step taken into the teaching side of dance was when I was given the opportunity to be a teacher's assistant in the preschool dance classes and the Junior (ages 10-12) competition hip-hip class. I taught my first class in my Sophomore year of high school. It was a recreational hip-hop class. From then, I knew I wanted to pursue teaching in a way other than in a classroom. Since then, I have been loving it every step of the way.
