Dr. Crowbar is the Chief of Surgery at the MSOE Hospital. A cardio-thoracic surgeon by trade, Dr. Crowbar has thrived within the MSOE community, and teaches his pioneering surgical skills to both nurses and doctors a like. Often seen in our Campus Common, Dr. Crowbar is always up for a cup of coffee with a student or patient.

While at MSOE, Dr. Brenner has pioneered many new procedures, including the internationally known Ex-Vivo Lung Extension procedure, which has allowed hundreds of patients to breath deeper and scream louder.

The subject of a viral marketing campaign, Dr. Brenner has enjoyed the spotlight. His procedure, while incredibly safe has gained some neysayers, including the Wisconsin Medical Association, and the state licensing board. Despite these spurious complaints, MSOE has stood behind Dr. Brenner, who continues to hold Full Privileges at MSOE Hospital.
