Welcome to Ms. M's Teaching Resources!

Hope you enjoy my resources! All are free, and each one is made carefully with LOTS of time & love.

I've hand-drawn the clip art, included tutorial videos for the math mystery pictures, and incorporated visuals & timers for the scavenger hunt.

WARNING: If you share my resources with others (e.g. letting colleagues know or posting on social media), please share the link to my website to credit me for my work. I spend a very long time creating each and every resource, and put in lots of extra time to make them accessible and useful to all grade levels instead of just my own.

Donations are not necessary but GREATLY appreciated from the bottom of my heart due to the huge amount of time & care put into creating. ❤️I'm a 3rd year teacher. I started my teaching career a Title I elementary school & (displaced to a) Title I middle school, where I struggled financially with constantly personally funding school materials for my class. I graduated with my Master's at the age of 20 in 2019 from Stanford University's teacher education program as a first generation college student, and am working to pay off loans. Now, I teach 2nd grade as a founding teacher at a brand new public school, but I spend the extra time to create resources that cater to ALL grade levels in hopes that it'll save you time! I am working to build a classroom library. Up until now, I've been trying to fundraise through making digital art on nights and weekends, but have decided to share these all for free. 🙂 Thank you for your love and support!

Birthday Room

Includes 6 hyperlinked birthday games and 2 hyperlinked birthday songs on SchoolTube. Consider editing the text on the whiteboard to include a personalized message to the student, and the student's photo if they're comfortable with that!

Birthday Certificate

Birthday certificate in Google Slides! Can be presented digitally or printed. Sized as a regular sheet of paper in case you'd like to print it. The message and entire bottom portion are editable.

Birthday Jamboards

Have each student in your class fill out a sticky note to wish the "birthday student" a happy birthday or share a compliment about that student! Great way to make the birthday kiddo feel special.

Jamboard 1: Birthday Cake Theme

Jamboard 2: Confetti Popper Theme

Birthday Games

Here are two class games that you can play on a student's birthday! Both are fully editable and come with visuals and timers built into the slides. My class has enjoyed both

Birthday Scavenger Hunt

Fully editable on Google Slides. Each of the 9 slides includes a prompt, visual, and 30-second timer. Super fun class activity!

What's That Word?

Students read a line of gibberish and figure out what it is really trying to say. This is fully editable on Google Slides and includes 9 pairs. Each pair includes: gibberish line slide with 20-second timer, and answer slide with a visual.

Hope you found something to enjoy with your students!

Wishing you the best as we continue through this year together. ✨

Please consider buying me a coffee if you like/appreciate my free resources! It is SO appreciated from the bottom of my heart. :) I update my site often to add more resources as I make them. Thank you for your love and support!
