7th Grade Science
The 7th grade science curriculum has a focus on Life Science. Students learn about photosynthesis, flow of energy in ecosystems, the chemistry of digestion and organic compounds. They also study human impact on Earth systems, characteristics of Earth that allow life, and the human body systems with an emphasis on living systems in their environment, adaptations, and cell theory.

Week 1: August 15th
Week 4: September 3rd (3rd-Labor Day no school)
Week 9: October 8th (8th- Professional Learning day - No school)
2nd Nine Weeks
Thanksgiving Holiday November 19th-23rd
Week 9: December 17th (21st- Early Release)
3rd Nine Weeks
Week 3: January 21st (21st- No School, Holiday)
Week 7: February 18th (18th- No School, Holiday)
Week 9: March 4th (8th- Early Release)
Spring Break Holiday March 11th-15th
4th Nine Weeks
Week 5: April 15th (19th - No school, Holiday)
Week 6: April 22nd (22nd - Snow make up day)
Week 10: May 20th (Last day of school May 23rd/early release)
