Q: I want to sign up my children for the swim team. How do I do that?
A: Registration takes place using the TeamSnap app. More information is available here.
Q: Are there discounts for early bird signup and/or multiple children?

Q: When does registration close?
A: Registration closes May 31.
Q: How do I get the swimsuit for my kid?
A: Swimsuits are ordered from a local swim shop and the swim team meets before the season starts to try on and order swimsuits. If you have more questions about swimsuits, you can contact Allison Rafferty at alliraff74@yahoo.com.
Practices

Q: When are practices?
A: Practices are every weekday morning before the pool opens. More information is available here.
Q: When do practices start?
A: Practices normally start when Fayette County schools close.
Q: What happens if I need to miss a practice/go on vacation?
A: There is an early bird practice you can attend. If you are out of town, practices are not required.
Q: My kids are different ages. Can they attend practice at the same time?
A: No, they need to attend the practices designed for their age.
Meets
More information on Meets
Q: When are the meets?
A: Meets are Wednesday evenings at 6 PM. Some meets are at the Masterson Station pool and some meets are at another team's pool.
Q: What time do I need to arrive at meets?
A: The times vary for each meet depending on the location. The time to arrive will be sent on TeamSnap.
Q: Where is the other team's pool?
A: The address of the other pool will be sent on TeamSnap. The addresses of all of the teams are also on the MOWSC site.
Q: What time will my kid swim?
A: There is a sheet of events and heats. The events run in order and vary depending on the number of kids registered.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Meets keep going in the rain! If there is lightning, there is a 30-minute delay. The meet has to finish by dark. If the meet isn't finished, the teams will decide whether/how to finish the meet.
Q: I am assigned a volunteer spot and have never done it before. What do I do?

Swim Conference

Q: When is Swim Conference?
A: Swim Conference is typically a full weekend in early July after the 4th of July weekend. Younger swimmers swim Saturday morning, older swimmers swim Saturday evening, and finalists swim on Sunday.
Q: Where is Swim Conference?
A: Swim Conference rotates between the larger pools in the MOWSC. Masterson Station does not host it because it is not large enough.
Q: Is my child eligible for Swim Conference?
A: Yes! Everyone that swims a full race during the season without getting disqualified is eligible. There is no other cutoff.
