What is ADHD?
ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorders and affects millions of people. ADHD makes it difficult to pay attention, stay on task, control impulsive thoughts, and overactivity. ADHD can affect a child's performance and behavior in the classroom. Advocacy for ADHD is important because millions of people are affected by it. All children deserve to have an education that will benefit them and their needs. Children with ADHD may need extra help and assistance in school to help them achieve their goals. I want to help these children, just like all my students, to have the best education possible and that will help them succeed in the classroom and beyond.
