Plagiarism is taking the original work of someone else and using it as your own. Students will create their own work. Plagiarizing someone else’s work will not be permitted. Examples of plagiarism are copying large text from written sources without properly citing them is global and verbatim plagiarism, rephrasing someone else's ideas or work is paraphrasing plagiarism, taking parts of different sources and putting them together to create a new work is patchwork plagiarism and reusing one's own work is self-plagiarism.
