Teaching With Technology

With Mr. Bell I learned when and how to incorporate technology into the classroom. Together we built technology infused lessons using various applications and platforms for all subject areas. Some examples include:

• Having students use Book Creator to create informative books about students celebrations and traditions.
• Creating narrated videos using Adobe Spark to have students explain their math thinking through various problems.
• Using Near Pod to lead Religion lessons where students could collaborate with one another, draw pictures, and answer survey and quiz questions.
• Posting questions on Twitter to help build conversations between students and parents about what they are learning.
• Having students use Pic Collage to create posters that demonstrate their understanding about different states of matter.
