Academic and Professional Experience:

Dr. Sohail Iqbal has 15 years of experience in academia with special interest to research and development. Before joining NUST-SEECS, he has worked as a scientific advisor in Experts software house, visiting faculty at University of Paris-Est, France, and assistant professors at Comsats, Wah. He worked with various European projects. He has authored 40+ research publications in ISI-indexed international journals and conferences. His current focus is on energy optimization in the smart grid and fuzzy control. He is an associate member of IEEE and served in the program committees of IEEE conferences.
