What are Online Tools?
Online Tools are tools that can be found online that will assist you and enhance your learning. These tools can include drawing, video editing, games, quizes, flashcards, ect. I will implement online tools in my classroom in many different ways. One way is to allow students to use these tools to create projects that will assist their learning by going along with our lesson. Another way I am going to use online tools is by creating my lessons using online tools and teaching students through them. There is a variety of tools that I will be using in the classroom:
Vimeo: a video creating website. This website gives creators the ability to edit, upload, live stream, and stream videos.
Autodraw: a website where teachers and students have access to a blank page where they can draw and write whatever they want. This includes different colors, brushes, and texts.
Sketch.io: a website where teachers and students have access to a page where they can draw, crop photos, add clipart, add shapes, write, fill color, and access different types of backgrounds.
PickMonkey: a website designed to create graphics. The categories range from Instagram stories to flyers.
Toy Theatre: a website where the students can play games over many different content topics including math, reading, art, and music.
Kahoot: a website that allows users to create game-style quizzes that can be played with a large or small group of people.
Quizlet: a website tool that allows users to create digital flashcards to study specific material of their choice, it helps wiwth memorization of content.
Google Classroom: a website which allows teachers to assign assignments, students to submit work, and for teachers to manage and measure their students’ knowledge on the material.
