Banned books are books that have been removed from the school or library after they were challenged based on the objections of a person. They are seen as inappropriate for schools and libraries. Books with topics about LGBTQ+, violence, racism, and other qualities that are seen as inappropriate for children. It is important that different books are banned based on the area.
It is my beleife that books should not be banned becuase it should be an indviduals right to decide if they want to read a book or not. There are so many great teaching opportunities from a lot of books that are banned becuase of thier topics and that some are classic children's books.
