I like to let the students explore and do a lot of problem-solving in class. Every student is different, and I allow students to take a different approach and critically think!

Yes, if your student gets to school before 8 a.m. they have the option to eat breakfast!
Yes, you are always welcome to come eat lunch with them, just swing by the office and sign in!
All of the school breaks, PTC, and holidays are in the school calendar.
Students will start lining up at 2:45 and get called by their bus number.
At the beginning of the year, we will hand out a sheet for the guardians to decide who is allowed to pick your student up. If you would like to change or modify your plan, you can talk to the administration.
I do a variety of testing in the class that is not just paper and pencil tests/quizzes. I like to be creative and give out alternate tests. For example, we did a talk show for a book we read in class. I had students be the hosts and one be the guests and ask each other questions. I want to ensure I test in a way to meets all student's learning styles.
Yes, I have assembled language arts math, and science centers in the class for students to do, while I do small-group activities with other students in class.
