Why Adopt and Not Shop?

 By adopting an animal, you are not only saving them but by adoption, you save the shelter as well. This helps create more space so shelters can provide resources for other animals in need. Many animals in shelters have been abused, neglected, or surrendered. Pets that have been surrendered could be because an owner died, financial problems, or housing problems. You are giving these animals a second chance at life and allowing them to live their life outside of a shelter. By adopting and rescuing animals it can be significantly cheaper and fights against puppy mills. Also, by adopting you are fighting back against unethical breeding. Most animals from shelters have gone through hardships and different circumstances, so this makes their love and happiness even greater after getting adopted. Rescue animals will provide you with so much love and happiness, and you get to see their true personalities. Adopting an animal gives you a new best friend, and you will be able to give them a life they have never experienced.
