During weeks 1 to 3, I worked as a Production Assistant on the Nestle Maggi Brand project. My responsibilities included assisting with the coordination of shooting schedules, managing on-set logistics, and ensuring the production process ran smoothly. I also helped in organizing equipment and props, which contributed to the seamless execution of the production.
Week 4-7
Project: 7 Days
Role: Production Assistant
From weeks 4 to 7, I continued my role as a Production Assistant on the 7 Days project. My tasks involved supporting the production team with various pre-production activities, such as location scouting and securing necessary permits. During production, I played a key role in maintaining a productive and organized set, allowing the team to focus on capturing high-quality content.
Week 8-10
Project: Samsung
Roles: Cam Operator, Production Assistant, Offline Editor On Set
In weeks 8 to 10, I took on multiple roles for the Samsung project, serving as a Cam Operator, Production Assistant, and Offline Editor On Set. As a Cam Operator, I was responsible for capturing dynamic and engaging footage. My role as Production Assistant involved logistical support and coordination. Additionally, I contributed to the editing process on set, ensuring that the footage met the project's creative vision and technical standards.
Week 11-12
Project: 7 Eleven
Role: Offline Editor On Set
During weeks 11 to 12, I worked as an Offline Editor On Set for the 7 Eleven project. My duties included reviewing and editing footage in real-time, providing immediate feedback to the director and cinematographer. This role required a keen eye for detail and the ability to make quick editing decisions to ensure the project's success.
Week 13 - 14
Project: Petronas
Role: Offline Editor
For weeks 13 to 14, I served as an Offline Editor on the Petronas project. My responsibilities included assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, and creating a cohesive narrative. I worked closely with the director to ensure the final product met the project's objectives and maintained a high level of quality.
Week 15-16
Project: ProBono Passion Project
Roles: Director & Editor
Also, in weeks 13 to 14, I directed and edited a ProBono Passion Project. As the Director, I was responsible for the creative vision and overall execution of the project. I worked with a dedicated team to bring the concept to life, overseeing everything from pre-production to post-production. As the Editor, I crafted the final cut, ensuring the project's message was effectively communicated and visually engaging. This experience allowed me to hone my leadership skills and creative abilities.
Conclusion
Throughout the span of these fourteen weeks, I had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, each offering unique challenges and learning experiences.
Starting as a Production Assistant for the Nestle Maggi Brand and 7 Days projects, I honed my organizational and logistical skills, ensuring smooth operations on set. My role expanded significantly during the Samsung project, where I took on multiple responsibilities, including Cam Operator, Production Assistant, and Offline Editor On Set. This multifaceted experience enhanced my technical skills and adaptability.
In the subsequent weeks, working as an Offline Editor for the 7 Eleven and Petronas projects allowed me to refine my post-production abilities, focusing on creating compelling narratives from raw footage. Finally, directing and editing the ProBono Passion Project provided me with a platform to exercise my creative vision and leadership skills, culminating in a rewarding and impactful experience.
