The Peña-Vargas Family business, established by Mr. Jose Sr. and Mrs. Marciana Peña, with their 13 children, originated in the 1950s. Initially rooted in Meycauayan, Bulacan, the family later moved to Cebu City to exhibit their artistic talents.

Across generations, the Peña-Vargas family has maintained a tradition of exquisite craftsmanship, diligently passing on their skills. Their unwavering dedication has not only preserved their heritage but has also inspired the local community to pursue their own passions with similar zeal and pride.

Estelita, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peña, wed Alberto Vargas and raised five children. Following family customs, Estelita created handmade jewelry to support her family. After her husband's demise in 2018, Estelita entrusted the business to their children. In early 2019, their fourth child, Melchor, and his then-partner now-wife Sheira, merged their social media marketing proficiency with the business, broadening the market reach from Cebu City and the Visayan region to a global audience. This marked the establishment of M&S Goldsmith, dedicated to offering affordable and authentic gold and silver jewelry.
