The following are teams that I or others have found success in Ultimus VII Difficulty 5. These are by no means the only teams that can be successful, but can give you an idea of what teams to build.
Difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is my new main raid team for Ultimus VII Difficulty 5, Lane 2. It can one shot every node in the lane up to War Machine with no substitutions. It's a highly versatile team with various tools to deal with all kinds of threats. It can take a bit of time to learn to nuances of the team, and knowing the cadence of each raid node will pay dividends, but the team has incredibly high upside.
There are a couple of great synergies with this team:
Thanos + Maw - This is the obvious one. Thanos gets a duplicate of Ebony Maw's buffs on his turn and along with the turn meter boost, his first turn is quite early. Korath is the only notable enemy that still goes before him. His ability to taunt quickly with two stacks of Deathproof, Immunity, and Regeneration help protect your team and himself. Paired with Shuri's early Defense Up, he should be able to survive until at least it is his turn again to use his Ultimate to heal to full. While generating kills, energy split between the two should allow Maw to use Special very frequently and his Ultimate two to three times a match.
Shuri + Maw - While both are fast and have Defense Up abilities, there are times that you will actually use both on turn one. If there is absolutely heavy burst coming from the enemy, using both specials gives you the best turn one defense. It also gives Shuri ability energy and a charge to give her, her special back sooner and heal more on her turn. If possible, though, it can be optimal to open with Maw's Ultimate instead. While the enemy will get their opening attacks off, it will heavily delay their second turn which will give you plenty of time to fully set up your defenses and control.
Try your best to use Maw's Ultimate as soon as the final wave of a node drops. On his next turn, use Special to apply the Offense Down and then go through and kill threats in order of turn meter with Basics to recharge abilities for the next node and apply any necessary healing.`
I tend use about four full life enemies as the last call for Maw's Special. Ultimate is roughly five to seven full life enemies.
For Shuri, I save her Special around five full life enemies.
For Thanos, I feel fairly safe using Special with about four full life enemies on the board.
Unless I absolutely need health straight away on the next node, I tend to use Shuri's Ultimate as the last or second-to-last ability on a raid node. Nodes tends to open with Shuri Special so between that, her granting herself an ability energy, and waiting until turn two, it's at most one turn away. If you use Maw's Special on turn one, she will have it ready on turn two.
Try to save Emma's Special for slowing new waves if Maw's Ultimate is not ready. New wave drops are the optimal time to use it if slowing enemies as they are likely to have low turn meter.
To get the maximum value from her Mind Control, apply Defense Down with Symbiote Spider-Man before using her ultimate on the target for massive damage.

This used to be my personal main raid team in Ultimus VII Difficulty 5, Lane 5. It can one shot every node in the lane up to War Machine, but I have a couple variations below that I use for specific nodes. This team was brought to my attention and named by my alliance mate Hermes.
While Shuri and Maw handle the defensive side of the board, Ultron and Black Bolt will help you control your enemies by debuffing them, rewinding turn meter, and flat out killing them. I prioritize getting a full field of bots before trying to line up kills for Ultron. If both align, that is the best outcome. Sometimes you may want to rewind turn meter on an enemy with Accelerator to kill them before they move.
For Ultron, it depends on how many buffs and bots are on the field, but I generally use four full life enemies as the general mark to start saving cooldowns.

This is a composition that I run primarily for From Street to Space (Star-Lord mini boss) that I'm quickly growing to love.
SSM provides a fantastic level of control in this variant. While you lose the raw damage the Black Bolt brings and notably the additional buff clear, SSM provides you with different facets of control that is useful when you need to control key targets.
Between SSM Ultimate and Maw Ultimate, you can keep a majority of the field Slowed at nearly all times. This allows you to set things up in your favor and pick through more targets before they get a turn. This is particularly useful on From Street to Space that is filled with Brawlers and other fast but squishy damage dealers.

This is the team that I use for the node Who's in Control.
While Wakandan Space Force can handle the node in general, there is a higher risk of losing someone because of Black Bolt and his ridiculous damage stat. While Hela is quite strong, getting hit by her is far less punishing
When opening the node, Maw's Ultimate is the perferred opening. If you manage to Slow the Jessica Jones, it allows you to establish control and maintain debuffs on the enemies. At 6/5 stars, Maw is able to land the slows roughly 60% of the time. There is an additional layer of help here where entering with a charged Maw has a chance to apply Ability Block on the JJs also delaying their cleanse. If only one of the two JJs becomes Slowed, focus you efforts on killing the non-Slowed one first.
Hela is a great choice for this node becuse of her ability to apply and spread Disrupt. Disrupting Drax and then spreading it next turn means that Loki will not be able to hide the JJs from the field and lets you burn them down freely
This is the one node that I do not use Ultron's Ultimate after summoning bots. This usually ends up ok as the health of the characters on this node are not particularly high. By clearing Drax's taunt, this buys you access to fallback plans if the JJs do not become Slowed from Maw.
