NOW accepting mentor and mentee applications for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
The National Education Association (NEA) awarded the Matanuska-Susitna Education Association (MSEA) a $674,010 three-year grant to build a sustainable mentorship program to support early career educators and social justice education in our local affliliate and school district.
The MSEA is building upon a 2019 - 2020 NEA CGPS State and Local grant by providing additional funding and time to build capacity and sustainability of a mentorship program for affiliate members. To learn more about the NEA grant work, see the NEA Grant Focus tab in the menu bar above.
MSEA and MSBSD Partnership
MSEA and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District (MSBSD) are working in partnership to support new, early career educators in our district. This collaborative work will ensure that all new and early career educators have an accomplished educator working together to provide the support necessary for a successful career.
