Our Core Values

At M.S. 935, We Believe if Students Love to Learn then they will Learn to Love...

So what does this mean? We believe that by engaging students in a rich, hands-on, project based curriculum that is rooted in STEM and has relevance to their real lives then students will "Love to Learn".

We also believe that if students who "Love to Learn" are provided with strong social emotional supports that teach them compassion for their peers, teachers, family, community and environment, that those students will "Learn to Love" to use their intelligence, creativity and innovation to provide solutions to many of the issues that are affecting society today, while becoming critical thinkers that begin to solve problems in the world that have not even happened yet!

Compassionate – Our students understand the well-being of others is important. They look to support their community and their peers.

Honorable – Our students are striving to be respected and productive citizens in society, who choose to do the right thing because it is the right thing to do and not for accolades or acknowledgement.
