About Ms. Troop  

Hello! Welcome to my our 2025-2026 Kindergarten classroom website! 

My name is Lindsey Troop and I will be your students kindergarten teacher this school year. I just recently moved to Greenville, South Carolina last year after growing up in Knoxville, TN for the past 23 years. After graduating, I decided I wanted to explore a new city and ended up falling in love with Greenville after visiting a few times. 

I decided I wanted to pursue a degree in education back in 2018 after visiting my own kindergarten teachers classroom. I have always had a love for kids and helping others, so teaching was the perfect fit. I attended The University of Tennessee Knoxville and recieved a Bachelors degree in Child and Family Studies May of 2023. I then continued my education and just graduated with a Masters in Education in May of 2024.

This will be my 2nd year in my own classroom here at ENSA.

When I have a free moment outside of school I enjoy doing a variety of things. One of my favorite things to do is go to stay active by running and evening walks. Along with staying active, I love to take time and travel all over the United States, my most recent trips being Italy, San Diego, and Vermont. Since moving to Greenville last year, I have loved exploring  downtown, going to the Saturday farmers market, and finding new coffee shops.
