Welcome to the Hybrid Lessons homepage! This class has a hybrid section where students will watch videos or read articles outside of class so that during class we can do more hands-on activities. Each video or article is labeled with the topic we will be discussing in class. I will let you know ahead of time in class or via email when you will need to read an article or watch a video. These hybrid lessons will also be posted on the class calendar.

Standard 3.6: Students will cite examples of how globalization creates challenges and opportunities for different cultures.

Learning Target: Students will examine the effects of globalization on different cultures. Students will complete the various activities assigned to them in order to understand the effects of globalization. Students will create a project and collaborate with others in order to demonstrate their understanding of the effects of globalization.

Essential Questions:

For this class, you will need to watch this video and write notes on what the speaker is saying as well as write down any questions you have about the subject. Make sure you come prepared with a pro and cons list about globalization so that you are prepared for the in-class discussion and activities. If you do not do this outside of class you will not be able to participate in the in-class activities and will have to make up your lost points.
