About me

Hi, my name is Kassidy Sikes, I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2026 with a bachelor of education. I am the oldest of 6, and with that I have always wanted to be an educator I am passionate about my job.  I firmly believe that every student has the potential to succeed when provided with the appropriate resources and support, I am dedicated to delivering engaging, meaningful lessons and employing effective teaching strategies to bring this vision to life. Consistency and careful preparation will be my main approach, ensuring a stable and supportive learning environment for all students. I believe in building strong relationships with my students because their lives and experiences matter greatly. I want to understand their backgrounds because I think there is valuable knowledge in their personal experiences, even if they're not directly related to education. Recognizing and including their "funds of knowledge" is crucial for creating meaningful and impactful learning experiences.

Parents/Guardians, to schedule a conference, I'm available during Lunch (10:00-10:40am) and Specials (11:50-12:50 pm). If these times don't work, please let me know and we can arrange a meeting before or after school
