Classroom Guidelines
In our classroom, we prioritize a structured and supportive environment to help every student thrive. To achieve this, we have clear rules, routines, and procedures that students are expected to follow. These expectations promote respect, responsibility, and readiness to learn. Failure to meet these standards may result in appropriate consequences designed to encourage accountability and personal growth.
There are 5 classroom jobs in my classroom door holder, line-leaders, cabooses, light switcher and class cleaner • The jobs will switch weekly
In our classroom, we’ll be using ClassDojo as a system of behavior currency. Students will earn ClassDojo points for positive behavior and engagement. Each Friday, they’ll have the opportunity to “cash in” their points for exciting rewards. If the class achieves an average of 3,000 points, we will celebrate with a pizza party
In our classroom, it's important that we all adhere to our expectations and nonnegotiables. If a student consistently does not meet these expectations, they will need to fill out a "Think Sheet." This sheet will be sent home to keep parents informed. The Think Sheet serves two purposes: it details the actions that led to this decision and outlines the consequences at school. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for parents to offer guidance and support to their child. By working together, we can help students reflect on their behavior and make positive changes!
