Welcome to Art 1!
This year; you will have the opportunity to explore various media while learning elements and principles of design. Through our explorations of drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture, you will be ready to move into any field of visual art that BHS offers!
About me
My name is Dashia Richey, this will be my 10th year teaching art and my first year teaching High School art! I previously taught middle school at Bettye Myers in Denton ISD. I have a daughter who attends DHS and a son who serves in the US Navy. I also have two big chocolate labs and a bunny! I am excited to be at Braswell and look forward to meeting each one of our students!
