Child abuse plays a big role in students education. Children who have been neglected or abused have a hard time forming relationships with their teachers or peers. They have low trust issues and self esteem. Kids who go through truama are often caught in survival mode, so they are not focused on school. They are more worried about what will happen to them when they go home or where their next meal will come from. This issue is important because we need to stop child abuse to ensure each child lives a happy, safe life like they deserve.
