This Infographic shows the recommended amount of screen time for children and what type of screen time they should have. It is important to limit screen time at home especially if these resources are being used in the classroom. Children 18 months or younger should be getting no screen time except maybe live video chats with family. Children 18 months-2 years should limit screen time, should not be left alone with screen time, and it should be for educational purposes. Children 2-5 years should be allowed an hour a day and parents should still be understanding what children are doing. Children 6-up should have consistent amount of screen time per use and it should not affect day-to-day functions

In our class: We will be using some online resources, but not enough to go over or close to the recommended screen time limit for your child . With that in mind it may be beneficial to monitor your child's screen time after school at home. The article below talks about the effects of too much screen time.
