This app can be downloaded to your computer and is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It is a messaging and video call app designed for kids, featuring parental settings that allow parents to see what their child is messaging and approve who they can contact. The app includes games for discovery and does not involve scrolling or followers like a social media app. Additionally, it prevents the use of rude or inappropriate language. This app will be used to provide support with learning related to what we've covered in class, during remote days, or simply for students to connect and chat outside of the classroom for fun.
Google Meet is a video conferencing tool that facilitates virtual communication, making it an excellent resource for connecting with parents of my classroom. We will use Google Meet to host parent meetings, share updates about classroom activities, discuss a child's progress, and offer resources for at-home learning. This platform provides a convenient way to strengthen the partnership between home and school, ensuring parents stay informed and engaged in their child's educational journey. Above is an attached video of how to use Google Meets effectively.
