Ms. Muschett coordinated with NYC Thrive to allow staff and the Fort Greene Community an opportunity to receive a Mental Health First Aid Certification in SY 2019-2020
Ms. Muschett implemented and advised the first active SGA at PS 287 in SY 2019-2020
Ms. Muschett implemented Therapeutic Groups for remote and in-person students while also building capacity for trauma informed care by introducing & supervising Social Work Interns in SY 2020-2021
Ms. Muschett leveraged her personal connections to provide students an opportunity to engage in Art as a coping skill in SY 2020-2021
Ms. Muschett implemented a girls empowerment restorative group to support our at-risk female students with relationship skills, identity exploration and exposure to tools that increase self-awareness and management in SY 2021-2022.
Ms. Muschett implemented a boys empowerment restorative group to support our at-risk male students with relationship skill building, identity exploration and exposure to tools that increase self-awareness and management in SY 2021-2022.
During school year 2022-2023, Ms. Muschett was passionate about providing staff an experiential opportunity to engage in Socio-emotional learning for themselves by implementing Staff SEL Office Hours.
