I am a native of Colorado and enjoy walking and hiking year round. I also enjoy cooking, reading and listening to podcasts. My favorite dessert is dark chocolate and chai tea. I love to travel and have visited Spain, France, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tahiti, Canada, Morocco, Spain, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Korea, Singapore and Thailand. I find languages incredibly interesting, so in addition to French, Chinese and Spanish, I have also studied a little Arabic.

Family is important to me, and I'm lucky to have many family members here in Colorado. We enjoy traveling together, and one of our most recent trip was to Maui, just before the fires. My husband works in the field of information technology implementing software integration projects.  My son and daughter are now studying at CU Boulder in the School of Applied Science and Engineering. 

I am also a graduate of CU Boulder where I earned a bachelor's degree in French with honors. I continued my studies at Lesley University where I completed my master's degree: Technology in Education. I hold teaching endorsements in French, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and Social Studies. 

I look forward to exploring language, geography, history and culture with my students!
